Determining when and if to get your blinds repaired can be a daunting task. There are several questions you should answer prior to bring one into our local retail store.
When and when not too
Follow these steps and you will be sure to end up in the right situation:
Q: First off, is the blind or shade you want to have repaired the blind or shade that you want in this window for the foreseeable future? (Disregard if a quick fix is all you want, lol)
A: If yes, lets keep going, if not, stop here and call for a new window blind or shade consultation.
Q: So we've determined this is the one, for now at least. So next question, what is wrong with the blind? We are good, very good, but we're no miracle workers.
A: Look for the obvious problems first, broken looping cord (which draws up and down). Broken internal cords, in-operable locking systems, etc. If you're having problems determining the exact location of the problem, drop us a few photos (941.544.2910 picline or info@doctorblinds.com), we can usually get a strong determination from consulting with you and looking at your pictures you've sent, expedites the process.
Q: Know that we've diagnosed the problem, should you bring it in or do-it-yourself?
A: We can usually let you know if you are able to fix it on your own, we encourage it for the right clients. But if it looks questionable, remember, we're here to help either way! Just dial us up or request a visit online, DoctorBlind's will take the time necessary to address any of your needs, whenever you need us.
